PRE-ORDER POLICY

Some items in the Side Arts shop are offered on pre-order. This page sets out the applicable terms.

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order lets you reserve an item that is not yet available for shipping (production in progress, restock, new collection). You are guaranteed to receive the item as soon as it is ready, in order of purchase.

Payment

Pre-orders are paid in full at the time of ordering, as set out in Article 5 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Shipping date

The estimated shipping date is shown on the product page at the time of purchase (e.g. “Expected to ship the week of DD/MM/YYYY”).

This date is indicative. In the event of a production delay or unforeseen event affecting availability, you will be informed by email as soon as possible.

In accordance with Article L.216-1 of the French Consumer Code, the maximum delivery time is 30 days after the shipping date announced on the product page, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of ordering.

Shipping notification

As soon as your pre-order ships, you will receive:

  • a shipping confirmation email,
  • a tracking number to follow your parcel.

Cancelling a pre-order

As long as your pre-order has not shipped, you can cancel it at any time and get a full refund within 14 days by contacting us at shop@sidearts.fr.

Once the order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled, but you still benefit from:

  • the 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the product (Art. L.221-18 French Consumer Code),
  • the legal guarantee of conformity (2 years) and the guarantee against hidden defects,

under the conditions set out in Articles 7 and 8 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Late delivery

In accordance with Article L.216-6 of the French Consumer Code, if the item is not shipped on the agreed date (or, failing that, within 30 days of the order), you can ask us by email or letter to deliver within a reasonable additional period.

If delivery still does not take place within that new period, you can terminate the contract and get a full refund of the amounts paid within 14 days (Art. L.216-7).
